Raw Cotton Ginning

Raw Cotton (Kapas) is brought by farmers to our ginning unit. The process of ginning involves separating cotton and cotton seed from raw cotton (Kapas). It mainly involves:

• Heaping of raw cotton
• Picking of contamination – repeated
• Pre cleaning
• Ginning – separation of cotton & cotton seeds
• Post cleaning of cotton
• Picking of contamination- repeated
• Pressing
• Packing of cotton

Delinting of Cotton Seeds

It involves processing of cotton seeds i.e. separating cotton linters/fibers from the cotton seed. Thus improving the quality of cotton seeds so as to turn them into high quality animal feed.

Cotton Seed Oil Extraction

It involves crushing of high quality cotton seeds in expellers machines to extract cotton seed oil and cotton seed oil cake. Oil is used for human consumption. Whereas high quality cotton seed oil cake is used in animal feed.

Processing/Cleaning of Cotton Seeds

It involves cleaning/grading of high quality cotton seeds brought mainly from Gujarat so as to free them from all the dust particles and impurities so as to make it high quality animal feed.
